Saturday April 20th, Shrewsbury Colleges Group's automotive department went the extra mile with a fantastic display of over 130 vehicles, from the past, as well as a glimpse into what we will be driving in years to come.

Crowds were entertained with demonstrations including the motorbike that holds the World Land Speed Record and a computer wheel alignment.

With all the major car clubs there, people enjoyed a Military D Day Display, along with the DAS Car Society and a huge variety of cars from manufacturers who have provided models to many generations as well as across the world.

Offering fun for all the family, the college were pleased to offer this whole event as a fund raiser for Severn Hospice who had consistent queues for their tempting summer menu, served from their ‘Refresh-on-the-road’ van and vintage ice cream tricycle.

With trade stands on hand, offering a cool range of merchandise and the rain actually managing to keep away, Shrewsbury Colleges' London Road campus really was the perfect venue for a great family day out.
